Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is DualDisc?

A: DualDisc is a revolutionary two-sided disc. On one side you'll find music in the familiar CD format, and on the flip side are surround sound mixes of the entire album plus bonus features. You can take this one disc with you to play almost anywhere ñ in your car, your home theater, or on your computer.

Q: Where can I play a DualDisc?

A: We recommend using the DVD side if you have a DVD player in order to enjoy the entire album in enhanced audio and the additional DVD features. The DVD side plays wherever a DVD plays - including many gaming consoles and computers. In a PC, the DVD side acts like a DVD-ROM on DualDiscs that include computer extras and Web links. The CD side plays on all but a limited number of CD and DVD models.

Q: What is DVD-Audio?

A: Highlighted by six-channel surround sound (24-bit/96 kHz 5.1 audio output, compared against 16-bit/44 kHz for Audio-CD), DVD-Audio features twice the audio resolution of a compact disc in addition to added visual features that enhance the 5.1 experience.

    • Behind the scenes commentary
